Here’s to 2020

First off I’d like to give a huge shout out to the people of 2019! Thank you so much for following me, liking, or commenting on my posts from last year, it truly means a lot to see you interact with my posts. I think we can officially say I’ve accomplished last year’s goals, though sometimes they were a bit challenging for some months.

Let’s talk 2020

You all might be curious what I’ve got in store for this year. Well, let’s talk about that. Last year I had all these goals I wanted to meet by years end and I feel like I reached those goals. For this year it’s a little more simpler.

GoodReads: I’ve officially made a dedication to the GoodReads challenge. And this year. *Drum roll* I’ve chosen 18 books as my commitment.

Now I know, last year started off with 15 and it got raised to 20 halfway through 2019. So, why not just make it 20 again since we know I can read that many in a year? Well, here’s why. Last year I had a ton of free time on my hands, and so reading through my books wasn’t that much of a problem. This year, I’m a little busier than last. Now maybe I will up it later this year if I feel confidant in doing so, but to start off the year I wanted something between with what I started and ended with last year. So I chose 18. I don’t read as fast as some readers out, and that’s okay. I just want a challenge that I feel challenged by but not so huge that I end up feeling stressed about. (You can keep up with me on GoodReads here) Anytime I make a review on here, I also add it to GoodReads, and leave links to both my blog here and my Instagram.

Instagram: Last year, late August I believe, I got Instagram. (You can follow me here) My Instagram is mostly book related post, now before warned, with that being said, I also sneak a few none bookish post onto it. Everytime a post goes up on my blog here, I notify on Instagram as well, whether it’s through a post or a story. I like to share the news about a new blog post with my Instagram followers either way.

The posts: Last year I wanted to have a set post outline, so to speak, to use when writing a post. I feel like I accomplished that. I’m pretty happy with what and how I’m doing my post, but I would love to hear your guys thoughts on it. Should I add more, take away from it, fine the way it is? Love to hear your thoughts.

Last year I also said I wanted to post at least 1 post per month for you guys. I lived up to that and got it done! Sometimes it was 2 or 3 post a month if everything fell into place. This year I would love if I could do 2 a month, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to accomplish that this year, so like last year, I’m aiming for once a month, but I would love if get to give you 2 a month instead of 1 this year.

Again thank you so much for helping me grow throughout 2019. I probably wouldn’t be here without you guys. It truly means a lot to me. Here’s to 2020. Let’s make this year just as great.

~Till the next Chapter~
